Kavithai Potti - 2026

Kavithai Potti - 2026 is a Tamil-language poetry competition run by the Kilinochchi District People Organisation (Kili People, Charity No. 1151262), held in memory of the late Thayalupini Ganesalingam and the late Chinnathambi Ramanathan. Entries must be written on the set theme Pothaip Porulai Ozhippom, on the eradication of narcotics, running to 96 words across 24 lines, free of spelling and grammatical errors and of loanwords, with the poet's Tamil name, telephone number and address given below the poem; work that is generated, adapted or reproduced using AI tools will be removed. Poems must be previously unpublished and not posted elsewhere until the competition concludes, entry is open only to those living in Sri Lanka, and the judges' decision is final, with winning poems awarded at the Muththamizh Vizha staged by the organisation.
