BADMINTON TOURNAMENT 2026

The Jaffna Hindu Ladies' College Old Girls' Association – UK & Europe presents its Prize Tournament 2026, a badminton competition starting at 8:00 AM on 4 October 2026 in Harrow, open to players of Tamil heritage. Play is divided into three sections: Juniors for boys and girls at Under 13, Under 15 and Under 17 in singles and doubles; Men's events from Open through Over 40, 45, 50, 55, 60 and 65, plus Novice doubles for beginners and Legends doubles for pairs with a combined age of 100 or more; and Women's events at Open, Over 30, 40, 50 and 60, with Novice and Legends doubles as well. Entry for men is £30 for one category, £55 for two and £75 for three, women pay £25 for a first entry and £20 for each further one, and juniors pay £20 for one category or £35 for two, with a maximum of three categories per player. The tournament is held at Jaffna Hindu Ladies College, with entry forms due by 30 September 2026 and cash prizes for the Men's and Women's Open categories.
